Composition and construction
In-mould technology fuses the polycarbonate outer shell directly with the shock-absorbing EPS foam. This seamless bond makes the helmet robust and keeps the total weight low at around 250 grams for size S. The 16 strategically placed ventilation openings create a cooling airflow that prevents overheating, and the integrated insect net keeps unwanted guests out of the helmet. The Zoom Spin adjustment system allows you to adjust the helmet very precisely so that it fits securely around your head.

Features and finish
The Urban-I 4.0 helmet features a rechargeable LED rear light that is magnetically attached to the back. This light has a 180-degree beam angle and features a continuous as well as a flash mode to ensure clear visibility in traffic. Power is supplied via a USB-C port and the body is IP44-certified with effective protection against dust and splash-water. The removable clip-on sun visor keeps harsh sunlight from your eyes, and the removable inner lining is washable for a lasting fresh feel. Reflective details further enhance your visibility in low-light conditions.

Use and specifications
The Zoom Spin system features a ponytail-friendly opening to accommodate long, tied-back hair. Beneath the chin is a magnetic Fidlock fastening that clicks into place with a single hand movement. The helmet is approved to the EN 1078 standard and approved for use on city bikes and electric bikes not subject to registration requirements.
